A WETT inspection of a wood or pellet burning appliance / fireplace may be required by your home insurance company every few years upon renewal. This inspection is intended to determine if the system and appliance is installed and arranged according to manufacturer specifications and code requirements. When you hire us to perform your visual WETT inspection, we automatically include aspects of a technical inspection as well – specifically: accessing the roof, accessing the attic and using a borescope camera to view the chimney interior. None of these additions are required within the scope of a standard WETT visual inspection.
